Shawn is a Sonoma County family law attorney and mediator with extensive experience resolving complex family law issues. Shawn is regarded as a creative problem solver who thinks outside the box in order to provide his mediation and litigation clients the best possible options for solutions. He has a keen awareness of the need in family law for compassion and understanding while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Shawn has been named a settlement conference panelist for the Sonoma County Superior Court and mediates cases twice per month for the court.
In addition to his mediation and litigation experience, Shawn has completed advanced training in trial advocacy, mediation, conflict resolution, and collaborative law. He also recently completed training to be appointed as a Parenting Coordinator in Sonoma County and currently sits on several Sonoma County Bar Association committees, including the Family Law Steering Committee, Family Law Rules and Best Practices Committee, and the Family Law Education Committee.
Shawn work closely with some of the most highly regarded custody experts in the state and nation, CPAs, financial experts, mortgage brokers, and anyone else necessary to provide our clients with the information and strategies they deserve. When not practicing law, you can find Shawn with his family, coaching youth sports, running, mountain biking, throwing Frisbee, or playing music with his band, Urban Oasis.
Tricia is a California State Bar Certified Family Law Specialist who has practiced family law exclusively since becoming a member of the State Bar. In her almost 20 years of practice she has handled every type of case from simple dissolutions to those involving complex issues such as separate property tracing and business valuations. Tricia is a thoughtful and dedicated advocate to her clients.
Tricia began her legal career in San Diego, California where she had a prospering solo practice for three years before becoming an associate of Veltmann & Leto, LLP. Several years before moving to Sonoma County in 2017, Tricia was a partner of the law firm Baldwin, Baldwin, Da Silva and Seifert, LLP (now Baldwin & Da Silva, LLP). During the latter part of her career in San Diego, she was an elected board member of the San Diego Family Law Bar Association.
When Tricia moved from San Diego to Sonoma County in 2017, she joined the law firm of Blevans & Blevans, LLP as an associate attorney assisting the firms’ partners in high-asset, complex litigation. After five years with the firm and establishing herself in the legal community, she made the decision to transition to a law firm where she could once again be the lead attorney for all litigated dissolution matters.
Tricia earned her B.A. in French from Pacific Union College and her law degree from California Western School of Law. During law school, Tricia was a research assistant to Laurence A. Benner, Professor of Law Emeritus and a Judicial Extern to the Hon. Anthony J. Battaglia, (former Magistrate) Federal District Court Judge, Southern District of California.
Tricia is a member of the California Lawyers Association and the Sonoma County Bar Association.
When not working, Tricia enjoys going to concerts and exploring the Bay Area with her husband, Michael, and their two terriers, Molly and Dexter.
